North Berwick Library Author Visit
On 15 June 2023, author Pim Wangtechawat visited North Berwick Library for an evening celebrating her debut novel, The Moon Represents My Heart.
During the event, Wangtechawat spoke about the inspiration behind the novel, its exploration of memory, family, identity, and time travel, and the journey from writing the manuscript to publication with Oneworld Publications. She also shared insights into her creative process and the research involved in crafting the novel's multi-generational story.
Following the talk, Wangtechawat took part in an audience Q&A, answering questions about the novel's themes, her writing routine, and her experiences navigating the publishing industry as a debut author. The event concluded with a book signing, giving readers the opportunity to meet the author and have their copies of The Moon Represents My Heart personally signed.
Hosted by North Berwick Library, the event formed part of Wangtechawat's publication celebrations following the release of The Moon Represents My Heart on 1 June 2023, and reflected her commitment to engaging with readers through conversations about storytelling, creativity, and the power of fiction.
