Author Pim Wangtechawat appeared on two panel discussions at the Singapore Writers Festival 2025, joining leading regional and international voices to explore time, memory, diaspora, and storytelling.

On 15 November 2025, Wangtechawat participated in “Beyond the Time Machine” at The Arts House at the Old Parliament. The panel examined how time travel, alternate histories, and temporal shifts functioned as narrative devices to interrogate truth, memory, identity, and collective history beyond conventional science fiction frameworks. Fellow panellists included Yudhanjaya Wijeratne and Lavanya Lakshminarayan.

On 16 November 2025, Wangtechawat joined “Elsewhere at Home: Voices of the Southeast Asian Diaspora” at the Asian Civilisations Museum, Ngee Ann Auditorium. The conversation brought together writers from the Southeast Asian diaspora to reflect on belonging, cultural dislocation, heritage, and the emotional complexity of inhabiting multiple worlds. Panellists included Amanda Lee Koe and Siang Lu.

Both sessions formed part of the festival’s ongoing commitment to amplifying diverse literary voices and examining global narratives through contemporary writing.
