'The Moon Represents My Heart' Book Launch
At the launch of her debut novel The Moon Represents My Heart at Edinburgh’s Lighthouse Bookshop, Pim Wangtechawat spoke about the novel’s origins in her Chinese family history and her fascination with memory, loss, and belonging.
Blending speculative fiction with an intimate family saga, the novel follows generations of time travelers navigating love, sacrifice, and the weight of the past. The event featured a reading, audience Q&A, and discussion of Wangtechawat’s journey from poet and short-form writer to debut novelist.
