The Read Room
Pim Wangtechawat joined a special edition of The Read Room, an intimate literary evening in the city of Manchester.

On 4 March 2026, author Pim Wangtechawat joined The Read Room for a special evening celebrating the publication of her second novel, I Dreamed of You, at Jane Eyre in Manchester.
Hosted in one of the city's much-loved independent literary spaces, the event brought together readers for an intimate conversation about I Dreamed of You, a contemporary romance set between Bangkok and Edinburgh that explores love, fate, memory, and the choices that shape our lives.

During the discussion, Wangtechawat reflected on the inspiration behind the novel, the experience of writing her second book, and her approach to crafting emotionally driven stories that bridge cultures and places. She also shared insights into her writing process, the evolution of her work since her debut novel, The Moon Represents My Heart, and her journey as an internationally published author.
Following the conversation, Wangtechawat answered questions from the audience on writing, publishing, and the themes of the novel before signing copies of I Dreamed of You for attendees.
The event marked Wangtechawat's first appearance with The Read Room and formed part of her UK publication tour for I Dreamed of You, celebrating the novel with readers through thoughtful conversation and a shared love of books.
